Based on the anisotropic magneto resistive (AMR) effect, the NSM41XX detect the rotational speed of a ferromagnetic/magnetic encoder wheel. This design provides speed information over a wide range of rotational frequence, air gap and temperature. It provides the speed information via a current switching protocol: PWM/Standard/AK protocol at the supply pin by current modulation. Diagnostic features are implemented to report the internal fault.
With internal capacitor and high ESD performance, in harsh automotive environments, NSM41XX can provide state of art EMC performance.
